Anand Balwadi, a venture started by Late Smt. Savitaben Amin, an eminent educationalist and visionary in the field of Early Childhood Education. (The 4 to 5 year old), serves as a bridge between the Nursery and the Higher Kindergarten class
Children here learn all pre-requisite skills required for the reading and writing process,at the same time focus is on holistic development of children.

Prep-2
Higher Kindergarten class:
(The 5 to 6 years old), Children here learn to read and write meaningfully and understand appropriate math concepts.
In addition to the overall development of the children, the program focuses on school readiness i.e. grooming them for STD 1.
A Play Based Readiness Program To.....
Strengthen gross motor skills
through outdoor play areas where children run, jump, climb, etc. and grow strong physically, yet at the same time learn to interact and respect other children as well.



Enhance finer motor skills
through activities like scribbling, crayoning, clay modeling, stringing beads etc. which leads to better eye-hand coordination and moulds the wrist and finger muscles for writing. It also helps to stretch attention span of children.
