Music and Movement Room

A place where children learn to unwind with the sound of instruments and body movements which release pent up energy. Through rhyme and rhythm children also relate to language, facial expression and body movements. They learn to dance to a tune with accessories like ribbons and scarves, create songs and stories of their own. Movement activities, creative drama and dramatic play are other areas where again children can express their imagination and feelings through their body movements, dance, pretend play (as in the doll house) and through games. Thus enhancing verbal and nonverbal language development.
